The foundation of the Stout spinning reel is an enhanced corrosion treated aluminum alloy body stem and GV-5H rotor that does not flex even in tough conditions. The 7 + 1 sealed ball bearing system is super smooth and extremely corrosion resistant. The carbon fiber drag system, braid ready aluminum spool and stainless-steel main shaft are premium enhancements you would not expect to find in this price range. Additionally, the entire reel is coated with our corrosion treatment to prevent corrosion and ensure reel longevity.
The robust design, anti-corrosion material selection, and its broad range of sizes make it a great saltwater spinning reel that can handle anything inshore or nearshore. The 1000-4000 sizes are ideal for inshore species like redfish, speckled trout, and flounder. The 5000 and 6000 can handle larger saltwater species such as sharks, mackerel, snapper, tarpon and mahi.
